3VS3 Street Soccer League Rules
OFFICIAL RULES:
FIFA rules apply if not modified below.
ROSTERS:
Team rosters will be determined by individuals that must form their own team. If a registrant doesn’t have a team to play for then we will find that player(s) a team before season starts.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
3 players from each team are permitted to play at one time. A maximum of 6 players can be on the roster. There are no fixed goalkeepers but last defender can use hands to deflect
shots. Catching and distributing with hands is not permitted.
Substitution may occur at any dead ball situation. Exiting must be done very quickly.
EQUIPMENT:
All players must wear hard sneakers and shin guards.
Any player without shin guards will not be allowed to play.
Team Excel is responsible for providing game balls and game jerseys (t-shirts)
UNIFORMS:
Players will receive a team jersey at no extra cost. Players are expected to have assigned jersey at every match.
Players are expected to wear sports attire.
GAME DURATION:
Players are guaranteed 2 ten minute games each week.The game is continuous with no stoppage for injuries. We reserve the right to stop the clock if necessary.
GOAL SCORING:
A goal may be scored from any where on the playing field.
POINT SYSTEM:
Game results will be documented. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. After 6 weeks a champion title will be given out in addition to celebratory T-shirt for each member of the team.

3 YARD RULE:
In all dead ball situations, defending players must stand at
least three yards away from the ball. If the defensive player’s
goal area is closer than 3 yards, the ball shall be
placed five yards from the goal line.
FIELD DESCRIPTION:
• 15 X 25 Yards
• 8 ‘ long goals
• old style astro turf
• hockey-like rebound walls.
KICK-INS:
The ball shall be kicked into play from the sideline instead of thrown in.
DIRECT KICKS: All dead ball kicks (kick-ins, free kicks, kick-offs) are direct.
GOAL KICKS: May be taken from any point 2 yards from the goal line.
KICK OFF: May be taken in any direction.
PENALTY KICKS: Shall be awarded if in the referee’s opinion, a scoring
opportunity was nullified by the infraction. It is a direct kick
taken 15 feet from the goal line with all other players behind
the ball. If a goal is not scored, the defense obtains possession
with a goal kick. Penalty kicks are not live balls.
PLAYER EJECTION:
Referees have the right to eject a player from the game for continual disobedience or as a result of an incident that warrants sending the player off. Street Soccer is a technical
game, NOT physical. No dangerous physical tackling will be permitted. SPORTSMANSHIP: Players, coaches and spectators are expected to act in thenature of good sportsmanship at all times. Abuse of the referees will not be tolerated. Any instance of such conduct
will disqualify the responsible player(s) and/or team from the event.
