REASON #1 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp!
TES Soccer Camps is celebrating its 27th season of training soccer players. We are offering a NEW addition to the curriculum:
“The TES SideKick Ball Skill Mastery Program is designed to ignite a passion for self improvement in
young players!”
Our NEW curriculum is based on years of playing, coaching and vast education experience with intent to improve the skill development of every soccer player wanting to go the extra mile. We will guide our campers through this curriculum with special attention to details.
TES believes in self-initiative principles and is convinced that campers will have an advantage as exclusive recipients of the ‘TES Sidekick Ball Mastery Program’ handouts.
All campers, ages 7-14 will receive a 4 color, easy to understand handout that can be used when camps are long over to improve their skills on their own time. We will introduce the concept at camp and guide each player through the week until they are familiar with concept and process.
Players need to be able to function technically, instinctively, with confidence and excellent execution when they are older. The TES SideKick Ball Mastery Program bases it’s concept and activities on the fact that the best players in the world come off the streets of their home town with self-discipline and self-teaching capabilities. The TES SideKick Ball Skill Mastery Program focuses on getting players motivated to apply themselves towards developing game realistic ball skills on their own time, away from structured sessions.
The TES SideKick Ball Skill Mastery Program is designed for boys and girls U7 and older. This self-initiative skills development program can be used at all levels but is designed specifically for players who might have ambitions to play at the high school and college levels. The Program is easy enough so that players can set up and practice by themselves, with a partner or a small group.
Please take a moment and look at our recent additions to the camp curriculum. These 2 handouts will assist players with taking a self initiative approach to improving one’s skills:

REASON #2 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp!
We offer professional coaches, a stadium atmosphere and activities intended to develop players’ abilities.
Professional Coaches:
Our professional coaches and High School standout players will use their experience and qualifications to instruct, guide and supervise their designated players throughout the week. Our exceptional camp staff will make your son or daughter a better soccer player while instilling a love for the game in a fun-filled environment.
RHS Stadium Complex:
A stadium field environment can create an atmosphere that many won’t experience unless or until they play for Ridgefield High School. It is hard to explain but playing on a field where Ridgefield’s best athletes get to eventually play can be exciting for many of our players.
Activities with Intent to Develop:
We keep it simple by mixing soccer skill-building, passing and shooting with fun. Scoring goals is the final element to a game with many elements. Chances are rare and it is the player that can take those precious chances and put the ball in the net that can make a difference in a game. We will work to develop and improve each player's technical skills and creativity with the ball so that finishing becomes natural, fun and with much success.
A week at Team Excel Soccer Camp is a week of confidence building and success at proper execution when shooting at goal. Every player can score hundreds of goals. Every player gains a new sense of what is possible.
REASON #3 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp!
We Have Fun with a Daily Raffle!
We will be giving away prizes provided by local vendors and Gatorade. Regardless of level or age, camp participants will enjoy the excitement a raffle will present each morning before camp session begins. The intent of our raffle is twofold; one, we want to have fun and set the appropriate tone for the rest of the day.
Two, we want to use this exercise as a teaching moment and remind players that the process of winning is what should be most fun. As will be the case in any raffle, not everyone will win the soccer games but everyone can have a great experience playing if they choose to believe that it is the process of winning, not necessarily the result of a game that determines whether one had winning moments to learn and improve.
I am a firm believer that the game is won in every moment in the game and as a result “Attitude, not Aptitude will determine eventual Altitude”. Players should take advantage of every moment so that they can develop appropriately and become the best they can be. A simple raffle will demonstrate that to all our camp participants.
REASON #4 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp.
We Film Players in Action to Illustrate and Document Individual Improvement.
Our primary focus is to provide campers with many meaningful touches on the ball. Towards the end of the week, we will film players (U8+) demonstrating learned activities from our new curriculum (Reason #1). We have confidence that our coaches will provide an environment that will cater towards the individual player’s improvement over the course of the camp week.
With parent permission we will post these moments on our website for players and parents to review.
REASON #5 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp!
If We Have Inclement Weather then we go Indoors to Watch 2018 World Cup Games.
It is not often that the weather is so bad that we need to go indoors. However, if we do have inclement weather for some of the day then we will keep campers safe and go indoors to watch World Cup 2018 games on a brand new projector and large screen. Campers will enjoy viewing the highest levels of professional soccer.
REASON #6 Why You Don’t Want to Miss This Camp!
A Camp T-shirt with a Message & Soccer Ball
All campers receive a camp soccer ball and a camp T-shirt with a 2-color design message “First Play then Learn and Succeed” on front. TES and it’s staff firmly believe that players need to have fun and the freedom to play first before learning or succeeding becomes apparent.
The majority of players in the US drop out by the age of 16 because they are not having the fun and freedom to simply play soccer. We will work hard to make sure your kids develop their ball skills, interest for the sport of soccer and the fun they deserve to have.
We are excited to offer this ALL NEW SCOR sponsored summer camp program (Reasons #1 through #6) with great anticipation that we will indeed make a lasting impact in your kid’s soccer lives.
